We’re excited to announce that our live shows are coming back and we will be able to perform in front of a live audience again.
Our return to the stage will be at The Century Club on Shaftsbury Avenue in London. The silver lining of going online in 2020 was that it meant we could reach beyond our little corner of the earth that was Covent Garden and build a global audience. Therefore we plan to run live streams of the shows too with digital audience participation to carry on beaming across the world.
With the shows coming back this opens up new opportunities for performers with lived experience of mental illness to take part. We can accommodate any form of performance art that can work on a small stage. In the past we have featured musicians, spoken word artists, comedians and dancers. If you are interested in performing please contact us so we can find out more about you and your work, and find a place for you to express yourself and tell your story of What’s Going On In Your Head.
These shows are put together with buckets full of goodwill from everyone involved, but it is an unfunded project so participation would need to be on a voluntary basis. Tickets to the events, online and at the venue, are free. Our aim is to reach out to as many people as possible and open minds through performance art and discussion.
