Performing live online for WGOIYH, was a completely new and uplifting experience for me. The support generated from the event made me feel welcomed and comfortable to share my poetry. Being able to have a platform in times of uncertainty was highly important, it brought people together and we lifted each other up with our creativity. It’s what being a human is all about! Talking about real life issues, at the same time having a laugh in a friendly community
