“The WGOIYH exploration of Addiction was an honor to be a part of, and a huge refresher. At a time when my world had stopped (as a touring musician for much of the last 18 years), it was a generous break from the confines of lockdown. As an addict/alcoholic in recovery, it is ALWAYS therapeutic to discuss my past in the midst of seeking change and growth. Liz, Jon, Maria and the guests brought such refreshing perspective and light to some very dark topics; For me it was much like a 12 step meeting! Finding joy in talking through difficulties, and sharing/learning from the experience of others. Thanks to the whole WGOIYH team and the performers for such a well-rounded experience. (And a HUGE thanks to DJ Prodbear and Liz for keeping such positive momentum going throughout!)”
