Season 1 Podcast Trailer

Season 1 is made up of 6 episodes that will be dropping into your podcast feed fortnightly. Performers featured in Season 1 include Jon Tilley, Jonny Benjamin, Giles Addison, Jon Downes, Laura Campbell, Chris Tait and Ceri Ashe interviewed by What’s Going On In Your Head? producers Maria Mendes, Rupert Eyles, Jon Salmon and Liz Smith. Each episode has been directed, edited and hosted by Liz Smith and engineered by Kim Halliday who also composed ‘the music jingly bits’.

One of the things we love about What’s Going On In Your Head? is ‘the ripple effect’. Often performers on the show go one to collaborate with people they met at the show. An example of that is singer/songwriter MIRI who performed Somebody Save Me at our Addiction themed show. That night, our show host, Liz, fell in love with her song which happened to be a perfect fit for her documentary and so it is now on the soundtrack of the film I Am Gen Z. The music for the film has been composed by Kim Halliday who is also part of the What’s Going On In Your Head? production team.

I Am Gen Z will have its UK premiere on 4 November 2021 at Genesis Cinema at the Raindance Film Festival. Tickets are now available so please come along to show your support and celebrate its release with Liz and Kim.

On 3 November, the night before the premiere, five of the musicians from the film’s soundtrack, including MIRI, will be peforming sets at The House of Raindance on The Strand. Anyone with a House of Raindance pass will be able to attend but they will also be releasing one off ‘evening-only’ tickets for the event too, so watch this space and grab a ticket when they go live.
